Tony Scott to direct an adaptation of “Nemesis”

So, chock this up to cool comic book news as Nemesis is Mark Millar’s newest and first creator owned series that truly is a great read. Now I knew it was being optioned for a film, but the idea of Tony Scott taking the lead as director makes me very happy. For those of you that don’t know, the comic has the feel of like Batman if he used his vast wealth and cunning to be the most evil badass ever and Scott’s action pedigree and the dark humor in some of his films like The Last Boy Scout could make for a stellar adaptation of the series. All I want now is some great casting too.
